About L&J Enterprises Excavating, Inc.
L&J Enterprises was established in 1977 by Lou Oliva, Jr. Since it's inception, L&J Enterprises has grown by leaps and bounds since its first civil work contracts with Phillips Petroleum in 1978, Tesoro, and Chevron later that same year.
L&J Enterprises has been involved in projects such as: excavating, civil work, pipeline, snow and road maintenance, tank dismantle, residential and commercial dismantle, new construction, septic, and several others.
Since its beginnings, L&J Enterprises has been involved as a primary contractor in seven (7) major expansions at Tesoro, two (2) at Phillips66, and the initial construction at the BP-GTL-TF facility. They are also the major contractor in the dismantling of the Chevron Refinery in 1993 through 1995.
In 2010-2011, L&J Enterprises was involved in the construction of eight (8) miles of gas pipeline in Anchor Point, Alaska for Armstrong Oil (in conjunction with Peak). Currently, they are involved in the construction of a tank project at Tesoro Alaska Kenai Refinery which consists of tank foundations, dikes, ramps and laying a bentonite liner. L&J Enterprises has been the primary OSHA 301 Certified Excavating Contractor on ten (10) recent repairs on the Tesoro Alaska Production Pipeline to Anchorage, as well as similar repairs on the XTO Pipeline on Nikiski Beach, and partial lowering of BPX Alaska pipelines that cross XTO line in the same location. These are just a sampling of projects L&J Enterprises has been involved with and can supply additional detailed information upon request.
